Taco Tour Manchester takes over Elm Street
MANCHESTER — Taco Tour Manchester, known as the world’s largest taco tour, will take place on Elm Street in downtown Manchester today from 4-8 p.m.
The food festival features more than 90 participating restaurants and businesses, each offering their unique spin on tacos for $3 each.
Attendees are encouraged to bring cash and enjoy additional attractions such as live music, a Taco Tour concert presented by Dave’s Hot Chicken, and the chance to vote for the best taco.
Road closures will be in effect to facilitate the event. A map of locations is available online, including details about parking and bicycle parking options.

SALEM — The Salem Farmers Market returns to the Mall at Rockingham Park, 99 Rockingham Park Blvd., starting Sunday, May 5, and continuing every Sunday through Oct. 27, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Located between Dick’s Sporting Goods and the Cinemark Movie Theater, the market offers a wide range of products including fresh produce, baked goods, crafts, jewelry and plants.

‘Petals & Pedals’ is the theme for First Friday
CONCORD — First Friday, hosted by Intown Concord and the City of Concord, returns on Friday, from 4-8 p.m., downtown.
The event, themed “Petals & Pedals,” features a diverse array of activities such as live music by Jack Ancora at City Plaza, a planting party, and a meet-and-greet with the Granite State Roller Derby.
Participants also can enjoy a community bike ride starting at the State House at 5:30 p.m. Additional attractions include food trucks, such as Wicked Tasty and Teenie Wienies and various business promotions throughout downtown Concord.
This community event aims to support local businesses and offers something for everyone, from arts and crafts at the Concord Arts Market to yoga classes on the State House Lawn.
Flying Monkey reopens with trio of shows
PLYMOUTH — The Flying Monkey Movie House and Performance Center, 39 Main St., has reopened with a full weekend lineup of shows after a brief closure due to smoke damage from a nearby fire earlier this month.
Kicking off the weekend on Friday is 1964 The Tribute, celebrated by Rolling Stone as the “Best Beatles Tribute on Earth.” The entertainment continues on Saturday with the Souled Out Show Band, known for its vibrant performances of rock, pop and R&B classics. The weekend wraps up on Sunday with Carbon Leaf, which will play its distinctive blend of folk, Celtic, bluegrass and Americana.

Free Comic Book Day at Double Midnight
MANCHESTER — Double Midnight Comics is hosting a Free Comic Book Day and Star Wars Day event on Saturday at its Manchester location, 252 Willow St.
Gear up for a variety of activities including lightsaber training, droid racing and a blaster firing range.
Attendees can enjoy free comic books, live music, a video game truck, a scavenger hunt and more.
A costume contest with prizes, door prizes for the first 100 attendees, raffles and a statewide sale are also planned.
