2012 Francis Wayland Parker Scholar Awards
The Francis Wayland Parker Scholar award winners were honored Thursday night. The award is named for Francis Wayland Parker, a Bedford-born educator who introduced new teaching techniques in the late 1800s and had a major impact on American education. The Francis Wayland Parker Scholar program is sponsored by the New Hampshire Association of School Principals, in cooperation with the Union Leader, Lifetouch Studios and the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Northern New England.
