Maine couple sentenced for stolen credit cards, checks
CONCORD — A Maine couple has been sentenced to federal prison for their roles in stealing credit cards and checks in three states, according to a release from U.S. Attorney John Kacavas.
Donald James, 49, and his wife, Jennifer D. Harris James, 45, were sentenced to 41 and 24 months, respectively. The couple stole the credit cards and checks in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts to obtain money to feed their addictions to heroin, Kacavas said.
