Man seriously hurt in Warner car crash

WARNER — A man was seriously injured Wednesday night when his car went off Route 103 and hit a rock, police Officer Ben Tokarz said.

Tokarz said the man, whose name was not available, was trapped in the car, which burst into flames shortly after the accident, which happened about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was rescued by firefighters using hydraulic cutting tools, Tokarz said.

He said the car left no skid marks before going off the road and into the rock. The car flipped over, landing on the driver’s side door, he said.

The man was flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon for treatment of his injuries, which Tokarz described as serious.
