Lynch will not nominate Bald replacement
NASHUA - Gov John Lynch said today he will not nominate anyone to replace departing Department of Resources and Economic Development Commissioner George Bald.
Bald has announced that he will retire Nov. 1, several months before his term expires.
Lynch said he will look internally for someone to run the agency until the next governor nominates a replacement. Lynch is not seeking a fifth term.
