The U.S. Marshals Service District of New Hampshire/Joint Fugitive Task Force has named Daniel Arthur ("Danny") DeMeritt as New Hampshire's fugitive of the week.

DeMeritt, 35, is wanted on warrants from the New Hampshire Parole Board for parole violations stemming from an original conviction and sentence for armed robbery.

He is described as 5-feet-8, 220 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on both shoulders and his upper right arm. He is known to have family, friends and associates throughout Strafford County.

The U.S. Marshals Service advises the public not to attempt to apprehend a fugitive, who should be considered armed and dangerous. Instead, report any information to the U.S. Marshals Service's Concord office at 225-1632.
