Two Nashua men steal empty ATM

ROLAND DION

LAKE MUNDAY

NASHUA -- Two men are under arrest, accused of stealing an automated teller machine (ATM) at a local car wash and then dumping it in the woods after finding out it was empty.

Roland Dion, 27, of 75 Kinsley St., and Lake Munday, 27, no fixed address, are facing criminal charges for the incident.

According to police, the ATM from the Shell gas station at 270 Main Dunstable Road was valued at about $15,000. At the time of the theft, there was no money inside the machine, said authorities.
Dion is charged with felony theft by unauthorized taking, while his alleged accomplice, Munday, is charged with criminal liability for the conduct of another to theft, also a felony.
The couple was scheduled to be arraigned Friday at 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
