Stonyfield Farm's Yogurt Works facility is currently under construction. However, videos will be playing in the Visitor's Center so you can learn about the history of Stonyfield Farm, how the yogurt is made and what makes their yogurt special. A gift shop offers merchandise, including all of their products at discounted prices. You are also invited to sample their yogurts. Tours of the new facilities will be available again soon.

The Peterboro Basket Company does not offer tours for safety reasons, but at their Factory Outlet Store, you can watch an 8 minute video that explores the basket making process, from weaving, hooping, and cutting to inspecting. You'll also find a wide assortment of the world's finest handmade baskets, gifts and accessories for purchase at discounted prices.

The Anheuser Busch Brewery is perhaps best known for its world-famous Clydesdales, and you'll find them on display in the Clydesdale Hamlet. In addition to the beautiful draft horses, you can sample your favorite brews, browse the gift shop or relax in their Hospitality Room.

Some 61,000 tourists visit the Merrimack brewery each year to see how Anheuser-Busch products are made. Following a free tour, guests of legal drinking age are invited to enjoy complimentary tastings of Anheuser-Busch products.

Family Tours are offered year round and are available during Gift Shop hours: Wednesday through Saturday from 10:30 AM-5:30 PM. They are also open on Sundays during our sugaring season.

Self-guided Tour
You can choose to do a self-guided walking tour by picking up a map in our gift shop that will guide you around the sugar house and property. The map also includes a brief explanation of the process of making maple syrup.

Personally-guided Tour
You also have the option of asking for a personally-guided tour. Most of the time there is someone available to walk with you through the tour and give you a detailed explanation of how maple syrup and maple candy are made. This may not be Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, but Van Otis does make some of the best chocolate in the northeast. Tours of the facility are always free. Suggested for children ages 8 and up. You may want to coordinate a breakfast or lunch platter for your group to top off your visit. Gelato is always a nice way to end the tour. Their Small Chocolate Fountain, with your choice of dipping items is another option to make your experience at the chocolate factory a very "tasteful" one! These Tour Extras must be coordinated with them in advance of your visit.

You're invited to come in for a guided tour, to watch them while they work. Then, browse through their spacious Gift Shop to choose that very special piece of Hampshire Pewter as a gift or for your own home. Workshop tours are available from Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Call for hours.

At Great Bay Pottery, we consider all aspects of our unique craft, from creation to final product; important to your visit. Just beyond our fully stocked retail showroom, you are invited to witness firsthand, as our talented artists craft the beautiful products that fill our shelves.

In our fully-operational studio, you'll find all of our talented craftspeople hard at work throwing, glazing, decorating and firing. From wet clay on the potter's wheel, to the final firing, you'll see how our unique pottery is transformed.

Watch as a lump of wet clay takes shape from its initial form into a beautifully crafted pot, bowl, decanter, or specialty stock. From here, the pieces are left to dry, are fired in A bisque fire, decorated, glazed, and then fired again in a special glaze kiln. The result is a beautifully handcrafted piece of New England's finest pottery.

Jewell Towne Vineyards has been producing premium red, white and rosé wine since 1994. Their world-class, award-winning wines include Seyval, Chardonnay, Marchal Foché, and Vidal Icewine.

At the winery you can learn about the wine-making process from vine to bottle on guided tours, and then stay for a complementary wine tasting to discover the premium wines that are made from New Hampshire grapes. After your tasting take a stroll through the vineyard, or take time to visit the rustic post and beam tasting room and a second floor art gallery.

Parker's Maple Barn

Parker's Maple Barn is known throughout the region for their maple syrup. Visit their Sugar House, which is in full operation during March and April every year. They make maple syrup the old fashioned way, with a wood fire. This gives the maple syrup a distinct flavor that you just don't get with an oil fire. Making maple syrup has been a family tradition at Parkers Maple Barn for 3 decades. During sugar season, there may be a wait at their restaurant but the sugar house offers full tours of the operation to help you pass the time. They will show you how the Native Americans made "Zinsibukwud" (maple sugar) by placing hot rocks into the sap, right up to modern sugar making in our wood-fired evaporator. After a trip through the sugar house, you certainly will go home smelling like a sugar maker! Group tours are welcome week days by appointment only, but call well before the season arrives to ensure the time you want!

The Littleton Grist Mill is open to the public free of charge, as a working museum. The mill houses an authentic 19th century grist mill which uses 24 inch stones to grind grain into Littleton Grist Mill organically grown pancake/waffle mixes and flours. Visitors to the mill can view the progression of grist mill technology from the 18th to the 19th century. Located inside the mill, a retail shop also offers their products for sale.

Boggy Meadow Farm

At Boggy Meadow, come see how the cheese is made, tour the farm, and stroll through their gift shop. Visit the farm and watch the cheese come to life! The cheese plant is located in an 18th century barn and farmhouse.

Frye's Measure Mill offers weekly 1 1/2 hour tours of their water powered shop on Saturdays from June through October. Their seven room gift shop features many of their handcrafted products, including their line of shaker box reproductions.

White Mountain Cider Company

The White Mountain Cider Company presses their own Fresh Apple Cider right in the Cider Mill from Labor Day to Christmas. On weekends you can catch them in the mill where they offer cider pressing demonstrations and fresh cider samples. Additionally, there is a restaurant and country store onsite.
